Organizational and economic mechanism for promoting varieties of spire cereal crops of foreign selection on the Ukrainian markets

The purpose of the article is to analyze the number and share of foreign varieties of spire cereal crops in the State register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine, to study the causes and organizational and economic mechanisms of their promotion to the seed markets in our country. Research methods. The research methodology is based on a comprehensive approach to the study of the organizational and economic mechanism. Methods used: statistical and economic in the study of the dynamics of promotion; graphic and tabular - for visual display of the results of scientific research. Research results. The share of varieties of foreign selection of the group of spire cereal crops in the State register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine is determined. Based on real data on the volumes of winter rye seeds certification, the share of specific varieties and hybrids for the 2020 crop was determined. It was studied that agricultural producers who grow food or feed rye based on varieties, rather than hybrids, use their own seed for sowing, and varietal renewal or replacement is carried out once every three to five years. The main components of the organizational and economic mechanism for promoting the seeds of varieties of foreign selection on the Ukrainian markets are revealed. Scientific novelty. The features of the promotion of seeds of foreign varieties on the Ukrainian markets are determined, which are based on the globalization and market-innovative systems of economic relations.
