Prospects for development of energy cooperatives in the countryside

The purpose of the article is outline prospects of creating energy cooperatives to provide processing straw into pellets for household needs, as well as to highlight prospects for implementing a program of agricultural energy cooperative developments. Research methods. In the research process were used such methods as analysis and synthesis (for research components of state support of agricultural service cooperatives (ASC)), monographic method (for analysis of scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on problems of ASC development), abstract and logical (for theoretical generalizations and formulation of conclusions and proposals on conducted research). Research results. Problems and prospects of development of agricultural energy cooperatives and directions of their state support in Ukraine were investigated. Positive experience of state support of service cooperation on an example of “Program of development of personal peasant, farms, cooperative movement in the countryside and advisory services for 2016-2020” of Vinnytsia region was considered. Elements of scientific novelty. Options for integrating households into more integrated economic forms were further developed. Priority of the development of energy cooperation in agriculture aimed at improving the state's energy independence and development of alternative energy sources was justified. Economic feasibility of establishing energy cooperatives was substantiated. Practical significance. Prospects for the creation of cooperatives for the provision of services for straw processing for the energy needs of agribusinesses and rural people were defined.
