Innovative paradigm of economic security of regions in the competitive environment of agribusiness subjects

The purpose of the article is to explore methodological provisions on principles of development of innovative paradigm of economic security of regions, which allow providing and extending functional limits of its indicative components and adequate perception of realities of agribusinesses management in a competitive environment. Research methods. Methods of indicative modelling of innovative business processes in regions were used, taking into account factors-symptoms that form an economic security of subjects of the agricultural industry. Formalization method for selection of forecast indicators-components for economic security assessment of regions was applied. Research results. The article identifies determinants of economic security in the agrarian regions of Ukraine. There was made an analysis of latent properties of the competitiveness of agrarian industry subjects and their impact on regional economic security in the system of the production and reproduction process. Inventive capital was identified as an additional factor for enhancing innovative development of subjects in the system of economic security of regions. Elements of scientific novelty. Modified system approach to assessing a level of economic security of regions was proposed, taking into account a universal method for expanding functional capabilities of its indicative components as innovative development and competitiveness of agribusinesses. Foundation for structural changes in the system of economic security of regions was developed using the integrated approach to assessing potential financial capabilities of agricultural entities. Practical significance. There were defined stimulators and demotivators of indexes of macroeconomic, productionreproduction, innovation-investment, foreign economic and financial security of development, their influence on the integrated system of economic security in the long-term period with a purpose for expanding regions’ independence, ensuring the economic stability of agribusinesses and the independence of local budgets.
