Investment attractiveness of the agrarian sector of Ukraine: regional aspect

The purpose of the article is to justify methodology and evaluate an investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector in the regions of Ukraine based on a generalization of approaches to determining investment as an economic category from the point of view of a potential investor. Research methods. In the research process have been used such scientific methods as: dialectical method of scientific knowledge, analysis and synthesis, systemic generalization, covariance analysis. Research results. Approaches to the definition of investment as an economic category from the point of view of a potential investor have been considered and summarized. The criteria and methodology for evaluation of investment attractiveness of the agrarian sector of the regions have been substantiated. The level of investment attractiveness of agricultural enterprises of the regions of Ukraine has been determined. 54 Elements of scientific novelty. Scientific novelty of the article lies in justified new approaches to evaluation of investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector of the regions, based on the generalization of the interpretations of investment as an economic category from the point of view of a potential investor. There have been made suggestions to create conditions for raising the level of investment attractiveness of certain regions and territories of Ukraine and ensuring their sustainable development. Practical significance. Conclusions, proposals and practical recommendations, as well as the proposed methodology for evaluation of investment attractiveness of the agricultural sector of the regions can be used to assess the level of development of agriculture in the regions of Ukraine in formation and implementation of regional investment programs and projects.
