Abstract

The answer to the question why the company chooses a specific business strategy may not be straightforward. One possible strategy that some odgovoraje include longer implementation period because they are based on training and learning, while others do not. When a company opts for a strategy for technological development to be a good indicator of its commitment to innovation. If a company opts for a strategy of mergers and acquisitions can be an indicator that what innovation activities put into the background. On the other hand, if the company decides to core competencies, then it may mean that it is willing to pay a maximum of innovation activities. This explains the technological superiority of certain sized enterprises in the modern business environment. Mergers and acquisitions are dominanantni approach of finding synergies in the western areas, while the strategy for the creation of core competencies through technological innovation characteristic of East Asian companies. The first approach involves a short and another long run.
