Abstract

Small-scale poultry farming is an essential activity in various rural communities, playing a significant role in food security and family economies. Despite its presence in these areas, there is limited understanding of its social, productive, and economic implications, which hinders the identification and addressing of the challenges faced by this type of production. Among these challenges is the growing demand for organic food, which requires strengthening sanitary measures and tools for proper management of administrative processes. In this context, this project proposes the implementation of an Administrative Assistance Program aimed at strengthening the organizational and management capacities of small-scale poultry producers in the community of Monterrey, Durango. Through this initiative, the goal is to provide practical tools for controlling input, improving internal processes, recording productive data, and optimizing available resources. These measures can support local development, the formalization of productive activities, and the progressive integration of small producers into the regional market.
