Análisis Sobre El Desarrollo Del Sector Florícola En El Ejido Llano De La Lima, Tapachula, Chiapas

The following research presented is a retrospective study with a qualitative approach, of the development of flower production, commonly called gingers (Alpinia purpurata). These inflorescences are cultivated as an open-air agroforestry system with indirect shade from the trees of the other types of crops such as: banana, papaya, mammy sapote, sapodilla, coconut, cocoa, and others. This is important because it allows the cultivation of the gingers annual production and other alternate crops, providing an alternative for the development of projects that allow a better quality of life. At the national level the production of this variety stands out in the states of Chiapas, Veracruz, Tabasco and Colima. In the regions it is cultivated mainly in the near common land around to Tapachula. The region production its considerer with high quality, durability and resistance, which allows a captive market the seeks a greater quantity of production. The sale and distribution of the gingers develops local and regional economy that allows to contribute income for hundreds of families in the region. This work aimed to analyze development of the floriculture sector in the ejido Llano de la Lima in Tapachula, Chiapas, the background of how the cultivation of gingers begins as has been the marketing process, seeks to publicize the antecedent and the origin of how the cultivation of the Hawaiians begins, such as the commercialization process, the challenges and opportunities for the sector.
