Abstract

The UALAE methodology is a theoretical protocol, complemented with practical aspects that are observed on a daily basis in agricultural enterprises. This methodology consists of twelve consecutive stages that are used to determine the conditions and status of the company to which it is applied. These are: mission, vision, objectives, policies, programs, strategies, tactics, diagnostic, forecasting, conclusions and recommendations, controls, and finally, the presentation of the results. As an exercise, this methodology deals with basic theoretical aspects that need to be supported or complemented by the practical characteristics of agricultural enterprises. The complexity depends on the geographical location and the company's size, whether it is at a local, regional, national, or international level. The methodology is flexible and can be adapted to the size and type of agricultural enterprise to which it is applied.
