Ranking krajów UE pod względem poziomu rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego

Abstract

The article presents ranking of countries in the European Union (EU-28) in terms of the level of socio-economic development. For this purpose, a multidimensional comparative analysis was conducted using 42 indicators relating to social, economic and environmental sustainable socioeconomic development. The time range analysis included 2013. (Data availability). The sources of the adopted variables were: Eurostat, the European Health Consumer Index and a report Public integrate and trust in Europe. The analyzes that were carried out, showed among other things, the weak position of Poland in terms of socio-economic development among the EU-28. In addition, the article compares the received positions of EU Member States in terms of socio-economic development in the rankings prepared with previously used widely rankings of developing countries, that take into account only the GDP. / Synopsis. W artykule przedstawiono ranking krajów Unii Europejskiej (UE-28) pod względem poziomu rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego. W tym celu przeprowadzono wielowymiarową analizę porównawczą przy użyciu 42 wskaźników dotyczących aspektów społecznych, gospodarczych i środowiskowych zrównoważonego rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego. Zakres czasowy analizy obejmował 2013 r. (dostępność danych). Źródłem wartości przyjętych zmiennych były: Eurostat, Europejski Konsumencki Indeks Zdrowia oraz raport Publiczna integracja i zaufanie w Europie. Przeprowadzone analizy wykazały między innymi słabą pozycję Polski pod względem rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego wśród państw UE-28. Dodatkowo w artykule porównano otrzymane pozycje państw członkowskich UE pod względem rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego w sporządzonych autorskich rankingach z dotychczas stosowanymi powszechnie rankingami rozwoju krajów uwzględniającymi wyłącznie PKB.
