Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of return migrations of people who decided to travel for work. The significance of population movements was emphasised in the local and regional development of peripheral areas, pointing to considerable impact of such processes on their transformation. The significance of the factors that impact the decision to return from economic emigration were assessed. A series of social aspects were also highlighted, related to the increase in return migration. / Synopsis.
