Porównanie spółek publicznych przemysłu rolno-spożywczego notowanych na giełdach amerykańskich

Abstract

The material presented discusses the issues of inter-sectoral analysis of public companies in the agri-food industry listed on US stock exchanges, in order to demonstrate the size of the industry in light of the current negotiations on Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership between the EU- USA (T-TIP). At the beginning the issue of choice of companies from the agri-food industry was discussed. In the following section inter-sectoral analysis was conducted. A comparison of market capitalization was performed and subsequently selected financial positions were analyzed. A comparison of revenues, net income, assets, liabilities and intangible assets was conducted, followed by the analysis of scale and growth of the values in the years 2011 – 2014. / Synopsis. Przedstawiony materiał omawia zagadnienia z zakresu analizy międzysektorowej spółek publicznych przemysłu rolno-spożywczego notowanych na giełdach amerykańskich, w celu ukazania wielkości przemysłu w świetle negocjacji o wolnym handlu pomiędzy UE-USA (T-TIP). Na początku omówiono zagadnienie wyboru spółek rolno-spożywczych, dokonano selekcji odpowiednich podmiotów. Następnie dokonano analizy zróżnicowania sektorów. Przeprowadzono analizę wielkości spółek branży rolno-spożywczej dla rynku amerykańskiego i dokonano porównania ich kapitalizacji rynkowej. W kolejnym etapie przeprowadzono analizę wybranych wielkości finansowych. Porównano przychody, zysk netto, aktywa, zobowiązania i aktywa niematerialne. Porównano skalę i wzrost analizowanych wielkości w latach 2011 - 2014.
