Abstract

Introduction of European food law in Poland has caused changes in the governmental activities aimed at ensuring the appropriate quality of food products including fishery products. Food hygiene and food safety have gained in importance. However abolition of the obligatory Polish Standards has significantly reduced the number of obligatory parameters that applied to fish and fishery products. The abundance of regulations requires new detailed analyses. / Synopsis. Wprowadzenie w Polsce wspólnotowego prawa żywnościowego spowodowało zmiany w zakresie działań organizacji rządowych na rzecz zapewnienia odpowiedniej jakości produktów, w tym ryb i ich przetworów. Dużo większą rolę odgrywa zapewnienie odpowiedniej higieny produkcji i bezpieczeństwa żywności. Zniesienie obowiązku stosowania Polskich Norm znacząco ograniczyło zakres obligatoryjnych parametrów jakie muszą spełniać ryby i przetwory rybne. Mnogość przepisów prawnych wymaga opracowywania ich szczegółowych analiz.
