Abstract

The article performed the analysis of organic farms linkage to market and their marketability. The possibility assessment of organic farming production system developing in Poland in aspect of worldwide development tendencies and RDP 2014-2020 was also conducted. Analysis was conducted using CSO statistical data, IJHARS- Main Inspectorate data and results of the research conducted on 399 organic farmers in Warmia and Mazury voivodeship in 2011. Analysis showed that organic farming is developing dynamically on all continents, although the EU countries have different strategies regarding its development. Organic farms in Poland have low marketability and lack of livestock production and because of that, they focus on agricultural subsides. / Synopsis.
