Abstract

Considerations are presented over the cross-compliance principle influence for the agricultural farms competitiveness in the European Union, particularly with regard to the Polish position. Their meaning is anlysed and the existing weaknesses are indicated, as well as the beneficial transformations inspired by the cross-compliance requirements. The data were taken from the Central Statistical Office, the European Union Statistical Office EUROSTAT and the Agency for Agriculture Restructuring and Modernisation. / Synopsis. W opracowaniu przedstawiono rozważania nad wpływem wprowadzenia instrumentu cross-compliance na konkurencyjność gospodarstw rolnych w Unii Europejskiej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sytuacji polskiej. Przeanalizowano znaczenie oraz wskazano słabości wprowadzanego systemu, a także alternatywy korzystnych przekształceń inspirowanych przez wprowadzenie cross-compliance. Analizy przeprowadzono na podstawie danych GUS, danych Urzędu Statystycznego Unii Europejskiej EUROSTAT oraz danych Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa (ARiMR).
