Abstract

Labour market in rural areas is determined by many factors. One of the most important barriers of rural areas development is poorly developed technical infrastructure. In this situation it is very important to implement activities aiming at creation of alternative sources of workplaces and income on rural areas. Inducing the creation and development of alternative source of income in rural areas is one of the objectives for programmes concerning the sustainable development of rural areas. The European Union funds can also play a significant role in activities aiming at a decrease in unemployment in rural areas. / Synopsis.
