Abstract

The article presents the economic performance and investment outlays recorded in the agricultural holdings participating in the Polish FADN. The aim of the paper is to evaluate and assess the differences in investment activity among the agricultural holdings of various types of farming. The findings show a strong dependence of investment expenses upon the farm revenue. The highly specialised horticultural holdings earned the highest income and had higher investment expenses. The lowest income, and hence the lowest investment expenses, were noted in non-specialised holdings. / Synopsis.
