Rola produktów tradycyjnych i regionalnych w podejmowaniu decyzji nabywczych przez konsumentów na rynku dóbr żywnościowych w Polsce

Abstract

The paper treats about traditional and regional food products which are subject of an increasing interest. It is based on secondary sources and personal research. Taking advantage of the available literature, articles in trade magazines and information in governmental websites, it defines and characterizes market of traditional and regional food products, consumer behavior and it describes national and international distinctive product systems and promotional programs. In addition, surveys were conducted which examined the degree of perception of these products among consumers. The results serve to illustrate the position that these products have in the food market in comparison to conventional products. / Synopsis. Opracowanie poświęcono cieszącemu się coraz większym zainteresowaniem zagadnieniu, jakim są tradycyjne i regionalne produkty żywnościowe. Opierając się o dostępną literaturę, artykuły z czasopism branżowych oraz informacje zawarte na stronach internetowych zdefiniowano i scharakteryzowano rynek żywności tradycyjnej i regionalnej. Dodatkowo przeprowadzono badania ankietowe, dzięki którym sprawdzono stopień znajomości i rozpoznawalności takich produktów wśród polskich konsumentów oraz ich stosunek do tego typu żywności.
