Abstract

A method of interval estimation of the difference of two means in the case of simultaneous violations of assumptions of normal distribution of variables and homogeneity of their variance is presented in this paper. In literature, the proposed method is described as an adaptive confidence interval. The confidence interval considered is presented on the example of a comparative analysis of the debt of large private or leased agricultural holdings. / Synopsis. W niniejszej publikacji przedstawiono metodę estymacji przedziałowej różnicy dwóch średnich w przypadku jednoczesnego naruszenia założeń o normalności rozkładów porównywanych zmiennych i jednorodności wariancji.
