Abstract

The aim of this study was to construct a logit model for categorical dependent variables denoting enterprise financial distress. In this case, financial data of 36 companies were used. A membership in one of three classes: a risk of bankruptcy, an unspecified financial situation or a correct standing was attributed to each company. Constructed models were checked for statistical accuracy and their predictive ability was determined by a classification matrix. / Synopsis.
