Główne tendencje w obrocie międzynarodowym zbożem w obliczu światowego wzrostu cen żywności; analiza na przykładzie największych eksporterów i importerów zbóż w latach 2006–2011

Abstract

The main aim of the paper is to identify trends in the global trade in cereals towards world growth in food prices (mainly cereals) between 2006–2011. The author presented changes (in terms of changes in value and quantity) in the world exports and imports of cereals as well as in the trade balance. Also the impact of the world food surge on the position of global leaders in the trade in cereals has been covered. In the period covered also changes in the geographic structure of the world cereal’s trade were identified. / Synopsis. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie tendencji rozwojowych w międzynarodowym handlu zbożem wobec wzrostu światowych cen żywności w okresie 2006–2011. Przedstawiono zmiany w ujęciu wartościowym i ilościowym odnośnie eksportu i importu zbóż, oraz bilansu handlowego. Ponadto zaprezentowano oddziaływanie wahań cen na zmiany pozycji głównych importerów i eksporterów zbóż. W analizowanym okresie zaobserwowano m.in. zmiany w międzynarodowej strukturze geograficznej handlu zbożami (na przykładzie największych eksporterów i importerów tych surowców).
