Abstract

The aim of this paper was to show the changes in the demand for cut flowers and pot plants in the opinion of the owners or employees of Warsaw florist. A convergence of the correlation between the size of a florist and the period of their activity have been analyzed, as well the opinions of the respondents about the level of existing demand. The study shows that a large part of the florist feel a decrease in the demand for ornamental plants in the last five years, which particularly concerns the ornamental pot plants with leaves. The decline in demand for this products is observed in both small and large florists although the latter on a smaller level. The research also shows that demand in younger shops is greater than in older. / Synopsis.
