Abstract

The main objective of this article is to evaluate the agriculture diversification in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and eastern Germany based on selected characteristics of production potential.. The NUTS 2 level was adopted for the analysis. Agriculture diversification was examined using the cluster analysis. The following diagnostic features were used for the analysis: average size of farms, grazing livestock density (LSU/hectare), share of land for sowing, share of grassland. As a result of the cluster analysis examined regions were divided into four groups. / Synopsis.
