Abstract

The aim of this research is an assessment of the diversification level of Polish agriculture potential against the European Union countries. Diversification level of the agriculture potential was determined using the synthetic indicator. For the analysis the following indicators were used: average agricultural land area in agricultural holdings, grazing livestock density in LSU per 100 hectares of agricultural land, farm labour force in AWU per 100 hectares agricultural land, land productivity in SO per hectare and cereal yield in decitonne per hectare. As a result of the synthetic indicator the examined regions were divided into three groups. / Synopsis.
