Determinants Of Strategic Development Of Agricultural Enterprises In Ukraine Under Wartime Challenges

This article examines the determinants of strategic development of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises amid wartime challenges. The study found that the full-scale war has significantly affected the functioning of agricultural enterprises, resulting in increased risks, destruction of production and logistics infrastructure, a decline in resource potential, and growing economic instability. The aim of the study was to identify and assess the key determinants of the strategic development of agricultural enterprises under wartime conditions and to substantiate strategic directions for strengthening their development potential and adaptive capacity. The research employed methods of analysis and synthesis, a systems approach, PEST and SWOT analyses, as well as an integrated approach to assessing the strategic development of enterprises. An analysis of key performance indicators of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises was conducted, and the main factors influencing their development under wartime economic conditions were identified. A methodological approach based on a composite indicator was proposed to assess the strategic development of agricultural enterprises. Based on the results obtained, strategic directions for enhancing the development potential, adaptive capacity, and economic resilience of agricultural enterprises under wartime conditions were substantiated.
