Nierówności W Stanie Zdrowia Mieszkańców Krajów Unii Europejskiej – Analiza Relacji Miasto – Wieś

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest ocena nierówności występujących na poziomie krajów Unii Europejskiej w obszarze zdrowia. Analizy dokonano w ujęciu miasto – wieś, w kontekście ich oddziaływania na potencjał kapitału ludzkiego. Analizie poddano zróżnicowanie zmiennej opisującej poziom samooceny stanu zdrowia mieszkańców obszarów wiejskich i miejskich krajów UE. Wykorzystując dane statystyczne na poziomie NTS-1, wskazano na charakter badanych procesów w ujęciu państw członkowskich. Zidentyfikowano odrębność zachowań mieszkańców obszarów wsi i miast. Na potrzeby badania wyodrębniono populację kobiet i mężczyzn w dwóch grupach wiekowych. Wykazano znacząco wyższy poziom nierówności w obszarze zdrowia w relacji miasto – wieś, występujący w grupie krajów członkowskich Środkowej i Wschodniej Europy.
