Pozycja Polski w produkcji energii z biomasy na tle innych krajów Unii Europejskiej

Abstract

Przedstawiono potencjał i pozycję Polski na tle innych krajów UE w zakresie wytwarzania biomasy stałej oraz możliwości, jakie płyną wraz z wykorzystaniem tego surowca dla celów energetycznych. Do wskazania potencjału i zmian na rynku biomasy w krajach UE wykorzystano metody porównawcze oparte na analizach tabelarycznych, graficznych i opisowych. Polska ze względu na swoje położenie geograficzne i uwarunkowania klimatyczne rozwija sektor OZE wykorzystując własne zasoby, co daje jej jedno z czołowych miejsce w UE. Ma to znaczący wpływ na trudności, z którymi boryka się Polska, aby osiągnąć nałożony przez UE obowiązek 15-procentoeego udziału energii odnawialnej w finalnym zużyciu energii brutto.
