Polska Branża Drobiarska W Obliczu Grypy Ptaków

Abstract

Celem pracy jest ocena oddziaływania wirusa grypy ptaków HPAI/H5N8 na funkcjonowanie i rozwój branży drobiarskiej w Polsce. Wirus ten pojawił się w Polsce na przełomie 2016/2017 roku (po dziesięcioletniej przerwie) i był obecny na terenie 12 województw przez 3,5 miesiąca, tj. od 4 grudnia 2016 roku do 16 marca 2017 roku. Na szeroką skalę wirus ten wystąpił w całej Europie. Pierwsze zachorowania drobiu domowego i dzikiego stwierdzono pod koniec października 2016 roku. Do połowy marca 2017 roku odnotowano już ponad 2,3 tys. ognisk tej choroby w 23 państwach UE, w tym ponad tysiąc ognisk odnotowano u drobiu. Wirus stwierdzano zarówno u drobiu utrzymywanego w systemie przyzagrodowym, jak i w chowie fermowym. Pojawienie się wirusa grypy ptaków w Polsce było czynnikiem negatywnie oddziaływującym na branżę drobiarską, powodującym straty w produkcji i ograniczenia eksportowe wprowadzone przez kraje pozaunijne. Nastąpiło spowolnienie dynamiki wzrostu produkcji sektora drobiowego w Polsce oraz zmniejszenie eksportu żywego drobiu. Było to jednak zjawisko przejściowe. Mimo zaistniałych zagrożeń systematycznie rośnie konsumpcja mięsa drobiowego w Polsce. Jest to tendencja korzystna, z punktu widzenia interesów handlowych Polski, która stała się największym producentem mięsa drobiowego w UE.
