Abstract

The paper presents the changes in the potato market in Poland in recent years. There were analyzed changes in the scale and structure of production, the balance of exports and imports and the domestic demand of potato. Presents an analysis of potato production costs, depending on the system used potato production. We analyzed the levels of prices for potatoes in various distribution channels. Pointed out the positive and negative sides of change and identifies necessary courses of action. Data presented in this study can be used by producers and traders of potato in Poland.
