Ewolucja Potrzeb Innowacyjnych Rolników

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine, how changed in the time – from the period before the Polish accession to the European Union (1996 and 2001) – and after a few years (year 2009), the needs of farmers adopting innovation. The results obtained based on interviews with farmers Lower Silesia province showed that the largest share in the structure of the declared purposes were innovations in the technological processes and production, especially in crop production. At the same time there was an increase farmers’ needs for innovative solutions in the areas of economics and organization of farms and maintain a significant needs for marketing innovation, which is a sign of changing attitudes of farmers and departing from the attitude for the production for marketing.
