Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the results of a bibliographic effort oriented hypothetical and conceptual development of a maturity model for certified processes in agribusiness systems in view of the of the supply chain management. The variables that constitute this model were specified from the relevant attributes to the accreditation process developed by coffee SAG institutions. Such attributes are distributed at different levels of maturity. The model parameters were selected because they are the essential factors contained in the main certification standards used in Brazilian coffee and are aligned with the requirements of BPO approach (Business Process Orientation). The model allows to analyze the level of the relationship between process maturity of certified firms and its impact on organizational performance.
