Efecto de aplicación de flóculo sobre el crecimiento de camarones Litopenaeus vannamei en condiciones experimentales

Abstract

Los flóculos son bioalimentos importantes en la economía de cultivos acuícolas, presentan bajos costos y tienen bajo impacto ecológico. Este trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de diferenciar los efectos en el crecimiento de los camarones aplicando flóculos como suplemento alimenticio o sin flóculo. Para esto se midieron el Oxígeno disuelto, Temperatura, Salinidad, Crecimiento acumulado, Ritmos de crecimiento, cantidad de flóculo administrado. Como resultados se obtuvieron que el Oxígeno Disuelto varió entre 9.7 a 3.6 mg/l. La Temperatura se presentó entre los intervalos de 31.7 °C a 26.4 °C y La Salinidad entre 26 a 28°/ooS y la pila sin floculo entre 26 a 30 °/ooS. Los animales alimentados con complemento de flóculo crecieron 2g/30días y de 1,6g/30días los que no se aplicó flóculo, el Ritmo de Crecimiento presentó 0,38g/30días y de 0,30g/30días los que no se aplicó flóculo y una sobrevivencia de 98% para la pila con flóculo y 91% para la pila que no se aplicó flóculo. Se encontraron 0.8 a 1,2 millones flóculos/ml, la tendencia de las poblaciones de flóculo observado fue en incremento a lo largo del tiempo. Se obtuvieron diferencias significativas entre el crecimiento de los camarones en ambos tratamientos. (p<0.05)
