An Analysis of Female Farmers' Quality of Living Related to Role Expansion and Their Health Management

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences of women farmers' quality of life by their participation in agricultural and housework activities and the conditions of their health management. To explore this goal, it used sample data collected by a local research institute. From data analysis, this study found that women farmers who had excessively worked and have husband not share houseworks are less healthy, less satisfied with social relations, leisure and economic lives. And women farmers who had a poor management after childbirth and hypersensitivity are also less satisfied with their quality of life.
