Abstract

Climate change poses significant challenges to agriculture marketing and trade reforms, threatening the livelihoods of farmers and food security globally. Rising temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and increased frequency of extreme weather events impact agricultural productivity, quality, and market access. This study examines the impact of climate change on agriculture marketing and trade reforms, exploring the vulnerabilities and opportunities for climate-resilient agriculture marketing systems. The paper highlights the need for climate-smart agriculture policies, institutional innovations, and marketing strategies to enhance the resilience of agricultural systems and promote sustainable trade practices. The conclusion of this study contributes to the ongoing debate on climate change, agriculture, and trade, providing insights for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers seeking to promote climate-resilient agriculture marketing systems.
