Abstract

Vajon összeegyeztethető-e a munka és a boldogság? Kutatásunkban Csíkszentmihályi Mihály flow-elméletére és Abraham Maslow szükségletelméletére alapozottan kerestük erre a kérdésre a választ a munkavállalók munkahely választási attitűdjeinek, szükségleti szintjeinek, illetve a flow – azaz áramlatélmény – munkahelyen való megélésének feltételeinek vizsgálatával. -------------------------------------------- Is it possible to reconcile work and happiness? In our research – based on Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s Flow theory and Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs – we were looking for the answer to this question while we were examining workers job choosing attitudes, levels of their needs and the terms of experiencing the flow at workplace. Based on the results of our primary research to explore these factors we can say that the primary job choosing factor is the marketable payment for most of the respondents, for female respondents the need of love and belonging is more important than men, parttime employees living the flow fewer than full-time employees, which may due to the short time spent at work. Although this issue is not examined, our results could help us in our research in the future.
