Abstract

----------------------------------------------------- In the College of Dunaújváros a large-scale curriculum development began in 2012 within a won tender, including several subjects. During the project the online teaching material of Engineering physics is developed. This new curriculum substitutes the missing contact lectures and demonstrations for brief and concise, but well-designed interesting video recorded lectures, short filmclips about experiments, and computer animations. The main goal of the curriculum development, to deliver for the students a well-usable, suitable for easy self-study teaching material, under the conditions of decreasing number of contact lectures. In case of correspondence cours, because of the minimalized number of contact lectures- not renouncing the possibility of a personal consultation -the contact hours should be replaced by this teaching material as much as possible. This paper discusses the concept of the processing of Engineering physics course, the principles of development of the online curriculum, and we would like to introduce the completed chapters of the curriculum.
