A terrorizmus hatása a nemzetközi idegenforgalomra

Abstract

A terrorizmus problémája napjainkban már-már a globális felmelegedéssel egyenértékűnek mondható, mert minden területen, így az idegenforgalomban is megjelenik hatása. Abban azonban megoszlanak a vélemények, hogy ez a hatás milyen szintű, illetve, hogy kizárólag negatív, vagy vannak esetleg pozitív aspektusai is. Munkánkban a terrorakciók turizmusra gyakorolt hatását vizsgáljuk, elemezve az egyes idegenforgalmi kínálatot alkotó elemek és a merényletek közötti összefüggéseket. Kitérünk rá, hogy a közlekedés, szálláshelyek és rendezvények ellen elkövetett támadások milyen következménnyel járnak a desztinációk látogatóforgalmának alakulására, s hogy hogyan befolyásolják az utazási szokásokat. Végül, bár abszurdnak tűnik, foglalkozunk a terrorizmus pozitív hatásaival is. ---------------------------------------------------- Nowadays, the issue of terrorism is almost as significant as global warming, because its effects appear in every field, so do in tourism. However, there are different opinions about the extent of its impacts and if these are all negative or there are positive ones, as well. In our investigation, the effects of terrorism-related activities on tourism are examined, comparing the connections between the variety of tourist attractions and the attacks. We discuss the consequences of attacks against transport systems, accommodations and public events as far as the number of visitors and their travel habits are concerned. It may seem to be absurd, but we deal with some positive effects of terrorism.
