Abstract

A koppenhágai folyamat lezárásával a magyar élelmiszergazdaság szereplői 2004-től – mint a sikeres diákok felsőbb osztályba léphetnek, új környezetben, új tananyaggal ismerkedhetnek. ------------------ With completion of the Copenhagen negotiations Hungarian members of the food industry after 2004 may as successful students step into a higher school and learn about new teaching materials in a new environment. The would be new member should compete with other members in quasi equality, only with years passed will become “equal”, and this focuses attention to two important points: – preparedness has to sincerely and realistically assessed (SWOT analysis may be of help in this respect) – so far neglected or secondary problems will have to be dealt with critically, expertly and with humility. In the first area of subject matter various commercial and banking studies will be useful, although they tend to paint for reasons of self-interest a critical picture of a sector, differing considerably from government reports, which are not without a touch of treasury optimism. In the second area of subject matter the question arises whether members of committee are aware of the cause of disease, whose treatment may alleviate the condition or an unnecessary treatment of symptoms may bring about expenditure, failures and ultimately the death of a branch?
