Hayvancılık İşletmelerinin Gelişiminde Genç Çiftçi Proje Desteklerinin Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, İç Anadolu Bölgesinde Ankara, Eskişehir, Kayseri ve Sivas illerinde 2016 yılında Genç Çiftçi Projesi’nde hayvan yetiştiriciliği faaliyet alanına (büyükbaş, küçükbaş, arıcılık ve kanatlı) başvurmuş ve bu destekten yararlanmış işletmelerde desteğin etkilerini araştırmaktır. İncelenen tüm işletmelerde desteklemeden faydalandıktan sonra destek kapsamındaki konu hakkında üretim bilgi ve tecrübenin arttığı belirlenirken, özellikle küçükbaş ve arı yetiştiriciliği yapan işletmelerde bu alanda ileriye dönük ümit ve beklentilerinin olumlu yönde geliştiği görülmüştür. Büyükbaş ve kanatlı üretimi yapan işletmeler ise üreticiler tarafından beklenilen etkinin görülmediği, iş yüklerinin arttığı belirlenmiştir. Destek alan dört hayvancılık işletmesi grupları arasında en fazla memnuniyet; küçükbaş hayvancılık yetiştiriciliği yapan işletmelerde görülmüştür. Destek için başvurduğu faaliyet alanında ilk kez üretime başlayacak olanlar ile halihazırda üretimde bulunan işletmelerin desteklemeler bakımından ayrı ayrı değerlendirilip hibe edilecek hayvan sayılarının bu gruplandırmaya göre dağıtılması, destekle birlikte ilk kez üretime başlayanlara daha kapsamlı teknik eğitimin verilmesi ve proje kapsamında dağıtılacak hayvan ırklarının yöreye uygun olarak seçilmesi projenin başarısının artmasında etkili olacaktır.
