Agriculture et industrie agro-alimentaire francaises

Abstract

The economic performance of French agriculture and of the agri-food sector during the last fifty years, particularly the growth of exports, has generally been a great success. Yet public intervention in this sector remains controversial. A new social contract, including multiple and diverse dimensions, is in the process of being formed. But the consensus on it is still shallow.
