Abstract

The article presented the prerequisites and main principles of strategic management of sustainable development of agri-food sphere of the region. It is noted, that the agri-food sphere has a special nature, different from other economic sectors, because driving requires production activities in harmony with nature. It is shown, that sustainability management of agri-food areas of the region – is to ensure the sustainability of all its subsystems and components – economic, environmental and social. The characterized by the signs of sustainability of the regional agri-food sphere. Scientifically, three comprehensive strategy of sustainable development of agricultural sphere of the region are presented. The proposed strategy of sustainable development of agri-food areas of the region will be able to regulate the processes of transition to sustainable development and ensure its competitiveness.
