Does IT outsourcing make dollars and sense for your organization?

Abstract

Outsourced services that were once considered more sacred in bank customer relationship arenas, such as cash management, mortgage orientation and lending, are now driving the renewed interest in outsourcing. Outsourcing makes sense when you realize the time and dollars that have to be spent on the hardware, software, space, people and training necessary to run IT systems. Ten bottom-line reason to help determine whether outsourcing makes sense for an organization are presented, including: 1. Make capital funds available. 2. Reduce operating costs. 3. Reduce risk. 4. Free up resources for other resources.
