Abstract

In this study, I aim to present aspects of European legislations in the field of individual labour right in some European countries (France, Italy, Great Britain, Poland, Sweden and Hungary). The importance of developing the labour market at the national and European level is underlined by the adoption in the last years of several directives in the field, as well as of certain strategic documents in the context of the European model (Europe 2020). The European practices should be harmonized: the protection/ mobility of employees and the employers’ interests for the purpose of maintaining the work force and the concern for creating new jobs and for stimulating investments in the economy.
