Legal framework of corporate governance in Romania and Greece: a comparative study

Abstract

This study has the scope of presenting the legal framework regarding corporate governance in Romania and Greece. The main objective is to analyse the content of corporate governance regulations by identifying the principles that are implemented in laws and CG codes. The study is structured in three parts: the first presents a synthesis of the main official documents on the subject in both countries, the second part is an analysis of the content of corporate governance regulations and the third focuses on a comparison of corporate governance regulation in Greece and Romania, which represents the main contribution of the author.
