Abstract

This paper discusses the functional testing of a software system that simulates electricity markets. The authors present the tested functionalities and analyze various testing techniques compatible with this type of system, with the aim of recommending the best combination of techniques and presenting results obtained by applying them to the simulator. The study is useful for researchers and practitioners who work in the area of testing and development of software applications for the electricity market.
