Abstract

This special issue of Annales d'Economie et de Statistique contains a selection of original papers that were presented at the ADRES meeting on "Econometric Evaluation of Public Policies: Methods and Applications". This meeting was held in Paris from December 14, 2005, to December 16, 2005. It was devoted to advances in econometric methods applied to the evaluation a public policies, including employment, social, fiscal, educational and environmental policies. The objective was to bring together leading international researchers who contribute actively in the development and the application of these methods.
