Abstract

Le système commercial mondial évolue, les théories du commerce international et de la politique commerciale aussi. Issu d'une conférence organisée sous les auspices de l'ADRES, ce numéro spécial rend compte de quelques recherches présentées dans ce cadre et qui montrent à quel point les chercheurs en économie internationale essayent à chaque instant de prendre en compte les évolutions du commerce mondial et tentent de les expliquer en les confrontant aux théories. A moins que ces évolutions suscitent elles-mêmes de nouveaux développements théoriques. Le phénomène n'est pas nouveau. On se souvient du formidable élan donné à la recherche en économie internationale dans les années 50 et 60 à la suite des travaux de Leontief. Les années 80 et 90 connaissent le même phénomène.
