Abstract

The paper considers the problem of project selection aimed at reducing environmental strategic risks at industrial enterprises. The implementation of such projects should support a correspondence between planned and actual strategic environmental performance characteristics. To identify the strategic environmental risks we propose a hierarchical structure of the environmental strategy at the enterprises. Basing on the methodology of the information -entropy approach we develop a computational procedure that allows to identify the most critical strategic environmental performance characteristics and corresponding production processes. A mathematical model of selection of risk-avoiding strategic environmental projects is developed.
