Abstract

This article discusses the rehabilitation bankruptcy procedures used in Russia today. The greatest attention is paid to the procedures of financial recovery and external management, as the most common and frequently used. The disadvantages and advantages of each of the procedures are noted, as well as the reporting of the FSB on the use of financial recovery and external management in 2021 is analyzed in detail. There is a clear inconsistency of these procedures in our country. The author deduces a number of possible reasons for the unpopularity of rehabilitation procedures. However, there is an attempt by the state in 2021 to amend this provision by introducing a draft law on the introduction of amendments to the bankruptcy law, which directly related to rehabilitation procedures. The disadvantages and advantages of the bill are highlighted. The author also emphasizes that in 2022, due to the difficult economic and political situation, it became possible to give the external management procedure a “second wind†.
