Strategic And Organizational Changes Of The Companies In The Market Of Diamonds And Brilliants

Abstract

Recently the situation in the market of diamonds and brilliants is characterized by a number of various changes. The analysis and supply and demand studying in the world market, multilateral and national measures of regulation, interaction of the international organizations and communities, dynamics of the prices and specifics of their formation, transformation of organizational structure allowed to draw certain conclusions and to understand a condition of a diamond and diamond complex at the present stage. Tendencies of development of the diamond and diamond market have considerable impact and on economic development of Russia. Being one of the main players in the market, our country takes a unique position among its other participants, thanks to a combination of several significant factors: the environment defining a condition of resource base; capacities for production and processing of diamond raw materials; unique processing base; culture of use of diamonds for the jeweler and technical purposes. The ALROSA group extracts about 95% of the Russian diamonds, being the leader of this branch, almost completely providing with raw materials the lapidary industry of Russia. In article necessary for development strategic and organizational changes of the companies in the market of diamonds and brilliants and possibility of formation of strategic alliances.
