Estimating Of Prospects Of Competitivness Of Poles Of Economic Growth Of Economic Sectors Of Novgorod Region

Abstract

The main direction of sustainable development and structural policy of the regions is realization and increase of competitive advantages of potentially competitive economic branches and sectors by improvement of market mechanisms of creation of institutional conditions on the basis of historical prerequisites of development of these branches and sectors, modernization of production base and the increase of efficiency focused on technological changes for increase of productivity of regional economy. There are results of the analysis of regional economy productivity based on indicators of labor productivity and the capital of the leading branches in reproduction sectors in the article: innovative and investment, fuel and energy, consumer, infrastructure, on the example of the Novgorod region. The conclusion is drawn that, despite the pursued area clustering policy, in the short term it isn’t possible to solve the put problems of productivity increase of innovative economy. The effect at best can be shown outside 2020.
